Your processing line remains in forward flow production, even while the filter undergoes its cleaning cycle. No production downtime, no need to replace filter bags or cartridges.

The unique design of the cleaning mechanism of this filter means that the process can be run at low pressure (0.5 bar pressure drop in cleaning). This means that your processing line can also run at the same low pressure - the annual energy savings compared to other filters are significant.

Our range of filter media caters to a wide range of situations. From woven mesh for fine filtration, polypropylene or stainless steel screens, to brush cleaning on stainless perforated media for the most demanding applications.

Cooling towers
To ensure optimal heat exchange performance, removing debris picked up in the process.
Spray Nozzle Protection
Use our self cleaning filters to remove impurities before spray nozzles, to avoid clogging and the achieve uniform flow.
Pump Seal and Cooling Water
Ensure that the seal water and pump shaft cooling water is of the required quality to avoid wear on the pump shaft and seals.
Cooling Water Treatment
When water is drawn from an outdoor source (lake, seawater etc.) it is recommended to use a pre-filtration system to remove debris from the water, before it enter the plant use or heat exchangers.

Technical Details
Mode of operation:
Within the outer casing is a cylindrical filter element.
The fluid to be treated enters the inside of the filter element. The fluid passes to the outside of the filter element, this clean fluid then is discharged at the outlet and continues on to subsequent processing steps.
The solid particles or contaminants remain on the inside surface of the filter element. Periodically a set of suction heads rotate on this dirty filter surface and draw off the solid particles. These are then discharged to waste, and the filter is clean again.
This self cleaning operation happens without interrupting the process flow, and without needing any intervention by plant operators.
Flowrates: Up to 65 m3/hr with a single filter. Higher flowrates use multiple filters in parallel.
Degree of filtration:
To 5 microns with woven sintered fibre SS316
To 25 microns with mesh SS316
Materials of construction:
Most filter housings are constructed from SS316
For more demanding applications where better corrosion resistance is required, Superduplex SAF2507 is available.
Filter media can be upgraded to Hastelloy C-22.
